Automatic 100 Series
In the early 90's a new series of machines, called "100 series". Models in this series are sold for export, but also in the armed police. For the series was taken as the AK-74M, specific models differ gauge (5,45 x39 mm AK-105 and AK-107; 5,56 x45 mm NATO for the AK-101 AK-102 AK-108; 7,62 x39 mm AK-103 AK-104), a short barrel (AK-102, AK-104 AK-105), balanced automation systems (AK-107 and AK-108). A characteristic feature of all machines the 100 series is a plastic butt tseve and black.
Models with automatic balance
The next fundamental step in the development of the model range AK steel AK-107 and AK-108. They used a modified scheme of automatic reload - atonic separated from the masses. This scheme has two automatic gas piston rod from moving towards each other.
